Editorial Policies

Open Access Policy
Global Islamic Economics Review (GIER) provides immediate open access to its content based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, or link to the full texts of articles without prior permission from the publisher or author.

Publication Frequency
The journal is published twice a year, in January and July, in both online and print formats.

Article Types
GIER publishes various types of scholarly work, including:

• Original research papers
• Conceptual and theoretical articles
• Literature reviews
• Policy analyses and case studies

Language Policy
Manuscripts can be submitted in Bahasa Indonesia or English.
All submissions must adhere to academic writing standards and journal formatting guidelines.

Plagiarism Policy
All submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using reliable plagiarism detection tools.
The editorial team strictly enforces originality; papers with more than 25% similarity will be automatically rejected.

Copyright Notice
Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), allowing others to share and adapt the work with proper attribution.
